Deeping Rangers will be hoping for a change of fortune when they host Gresley Rovers this weekend.

Liam Hook and his winless side will be looking to get off and running, making the Haydon Whitham Stadium a fortress in the process.

It won't be easy against a Rovers side who sit in the divisions play off places. They are coming off the back of a win last weekend against another side from Lincolnshire, beating Skegness 3-1.

Their form on their travels has been mixed though, shipping six on their last away game, albeit to Eastwood.

Sam Grouse has scored four this season for the Derbyshire side and will be the man Deepings defenders need to keep an eye on.

Rangers come into the game low on confidence after a 3-0 defeat to fellow strugglers Aylestone Park last weekend. But the new management team have had another week with their players to work on the training pitch and make meaningful tweaks where needed.

They will also draw on two great results at home against the same opponents in recent seasons.

Last season a Will Barnes goal grabbed a point and the season before that Oleks Muzychuk scored the only goal of the game to get us three valuable points during the run in.
