Rangers wasted no time getting on the front foot, as within the first 2 minutes Ryan Cook gave us the early advantage with a well placed strike into the top right corner.
However it didn’t take long for the Miners to get back into the game, as Ben Henderson’s front post header levelled the score just 5 minutes later.
Henderson further went on to flash a dangerous cross into our 6 yard box, which was met by Curtis Rigley, giving the visitors the lead heading ahead of the half time interval.
The Rangers went on the front foot again at the start of the second half creating some good opportunities, including another strike from Ryan Cook which was met by the woodwork.
Unfortunately the second half did prove to be less eventful as the first, and the visitors were able to see out the victory at the Haydon Whitham.
Despite the result, there are many positives to take to our next fixture away against Skegness next week.
