This Saturday, we at Deeping Rangers look forward to facing Kimberly Miners Welfare FC (The Miners), in our first league match of the 2026/27 season.

The Rangers will come into this match following our 3-4 preseason victory away against Yaxley, where Harvey Thorne’s late winner sealed the victory for us Rangers.

Rangers also come into this fixture with new and important signings, who will be looking to make their mark in their first game at the Haydon Whitham Stadium.

The Miners are also an established club in the UCL Premier Division North following their promotion in the 2021/22 season from Division One. Both sides also finished with the same points tally last season (42), only separated by goal difference.

That said we can expect a close fixture and an entertaining start to the season.
