When the final time added on board of the season went up, saying 7 minutes, there was an audible groan from those around me in the main stand at Deeping Rangers.
We had been here before when it felt like the officials would be playing on until the opposition got a goal. And Rangers had been fragile lately, meaning that the pressure and edginess was biting.
Deeping had started brilliantly with lots of pressure and set pieces, taking advantage of the strong wind at their back.
A Jack Wilson corner might have crossed the line (image below) before Spencer Tinkler made sure.

It was a brilliant start with a quarter of the game gone. There were other chances with Ryan Cook and Josh Randall being thwarted by some great goalkeeping.
After the break, there was more of the same. Rangers unaffected by now, chasing the wind, getting through, and trying to extend their advantage.
Newark aren't in the upper reaches of the division for nothing, however, and did get their spell of pressure late on.
But despite the large amount of injury time, Deeping held on to send their fans home for the summer happy.
