Promotion hunting Newark Town visit Outgang Road to conclude the UCL Prem North season for Deeping.
Whilst our visitors will be preparing for post season play offs (and we wish them well in those matches) we will be licking our wounds from a second half of the season that has left the players, management and supporters scratching their heads as to how a side looking up to the play offs at Christmas, is looking down at the drop zone as 2025/2026 concludes.
Rangers were beaten last time out against Hucknall despite a positive display. It was their inability to score goals that cost them at least a point on Easter Monday, something that has frustrated the management team.
There will be a lot of soul searching to come as we start the off-season, but that is for next week.
We have one more big push to get three points before the season ends.
Newark will be a massive challenge. They are third in the form table at the moment with 4 wins, 1 draw (against play off rivals Grantham) and 1 defeat (to champions elect Boston Town).
Veteran football league goalkeeper Scott Loach is the star name in the opponents line up.
