Jacob Goodley has been a real asset after returning from a bad early season shoulder injury.
The midfielder had some great moments in the first half but missed a couple of chances, something team mates were also guilty of.
But rather than his head dropping, Goodley seized a chance as the first half drew to a close and smashed it home to give Rangers the half time lead their play deserved.
They didnt let Heanor back into the game in the second half with Ryan Cook getting another goal before a brilliant Harvey Thorne assist set up Harrison Dee who smashed home the third.
In truth there were chances for other goals with the visitors only getting into the game and forcing Aaron Butcher into a save or twice when the scoreline had got away from them.
Rangers held firm and got three goals, three points and a clean sheet.
