Its a local derby at the sea-side for Rangers this weekend when we head out through Boston to the coast and Skegness.
The two sides met recently at the Haydon Whitham in a bizarre match which saw a second half of over an hour in duration.
That extra time was useful for Rangers though as James Stainsby (now of St Neots Town) got a late leveller for Deeping after a defensive error had given Skegness a first half lead.
Town have been in decent form since that meeting with a win against Newark & Sherwood followed by a draw with Grantham. In Lucas Daikin they have one of the leagues in form goalscorers with him on 13 already for the season.
Rangers now have 4 draws out of their last five league games and only one win in the last six, that being over Grantham. Away from home we have gathered just a single point on our travels. Manager Brett Whaley mentioned after our previous game with Belper, that despite a week of rest and training his side will need to be right on the money to get anything from the game.
Thanks in advance to Rangers fans making the trip up north for this one. We can't wait for the game.
