Sparrow strikes in bank holiday draw

Matt Sparrow completed his comeback from a lengthy lay off with a first minute goal in the derby with Wisbech.

However a late equaliser meant the points were shared with the Fenmen.

This is a match with a large number of players with experience in both teams.

For example the visitors line up included ex-Rangers 'keeper Dan George, defender Alfie Wren and midfielder Sam Murphy (to name but three!) and this familiarity can sometimes add to the derby drama.

This game was well contested and keenly fought with the outcome unknown until the final whistle.
