Rangers took the lead in this one through Elliott Foster (pictured) who finished clinically after a superb cross off the right wing from Matt Sparrow.
The match was fought frantically until half time but Deeping went in ahead.
Half time - Boston Town 0-1 Deeping Rangers
Early in the second half Boston got a deserved equaliser. A number of attempts to get the ball clear failed and having got level, Boston became the better side. The goal giving them the confidence to go forward.
Rangers made some changes from the bench and it started to pay off as Ben Seymour-Shove began to show his class, taking the game to the home side.
It was David Burton-Jones who put Deeping back ahead. 'Dibsy' scored a fantastic goal from a tight angle, possibly against the run of play at that stage of the game.
But Rangers couldn't hold on and the home side were level almost instantly.
The game was being played at a frantic 100 miles an hour. It was a great advert for local non-league.
As the match headed towards the 90th minute Rangers could have snatched all three point but for a superb finger tip save from the Boston keeper.
It ended 2-2 and on reflection both camps would be happy with a draw.
