Cal Davies (pictured) will be looking for another cup goal this weekend when Bottesford comes to town.

Davies smashed home a long-range effort to give us the lead mid-week at Yaxley. The Cuckoos levelled in the second half through Brandon Jessop before Rangers won 7-6 on penalties.

That was in the Hinchingbrooke Cup, a competition for clubs around Peterborough and to the south; this is the Lincs Cup.

Rangers have a decent record in both, with their most recent final appearance at Boston United. And whilst the league remains an absolute priority for Liam Hook and his team, the chance to keep routes to silverware open remains key.

Players were either unavailable or rested midweek, so there might be a fresh look to the line-up on Saturday.

Kick-off is 3 pm, and it would be great to see you there, supporting Rangers.
