Its time to dream a little as the FA Vase starts for Rangers this season.

Allexton & New Parks FC visit for the opening tie of the campaign.

Our opponents are from Leicestershire and play in Midlands League division 1. They were founded back in 1996 and play they home matches at New College.

They arrived at step 6 in 2024 and will be looking for a strong performance and result this weekend.

Deeping have had a weekend off to prepare and will be keen to show well in this one ahead of upcoming derbies with Melton, Grantham and Skegness. Those three league matches will go a long way to defining our season, but the money from a run in the Vase would be handy.

Its that tough balancing act for Brett and his coaching staff at this time of year and with Cal Davies leaving, there might be some incoming movement on the transfer front, maybe even ahead of this one.
