In a match sponsored by Peterborough Audi , Rangers Started the game without the goal scoring duo of Mooney and Coupland Deeping were dominant from the start and took the lead on 7 mins, Tom Waumsley won the challenge with Jordan Bryant to find Charlie Coulson free 20 yards out, his shot crossing into the far corner of goal past the helpless visiting keeper Andrew Hewitt.

The Cromwellians had a rare opportunity when Jamie Waterworth’s pass released James Seymour down the left, he laid back to Waterworth who miskicked his effort.

Home centre back Luke Hunnings had a couple of chances rising to head Dan Schiavi’s crosses high of the target, Schiavi then saw his shot tipped onto the bar by Hewitt.

Rangers increased their lead on 42 with another good goal from Coulson, he collected a short pass, turned and drove into the far side of the goal form 20 yards.

Deeping started the goal rush on 47 mins, skipper David Burton-Jones won the ball just inside the visitors half and advanced to 20 yards out and then drove the ball into the top corner giving Hewitt no chance.

It was 4-0 on 57 mins, Coulson threaded a ball through the visiting defence where Jason Kilbride slid the ball past the approaching Hewitt.

The fifth goal came on 67 mins, Tom Smith’s clearance found Schiavi, he made ground to the edge of the box before smashing the ball home.

It was all Deeping and the sixth came three mins later, Dan Flack fed Kilbride, his shot fell for Flack to cross into the box where Burton-Jones arrived to blast home.

The visitor’s best chance fell to Seymour, he collected a loose ball and saw his shot well blocked by Flack in front of the dive of keeper Stainsby.

Schiavi joined the brace club when he deposited a curled free kick from the edge of the box on 88 mins to make it seven for the home side.

The scoring was completed in additional time, Schiavi slid the ball wide for Waumsley to take in his stride and steer his shot past the dive of Hewitt and inside the post (90+2).

So Rangers completed the double over the visitors and improved their goal difference – there will be tougher test ahead before the season’s end.
