back from 1-3 down to get a draw.
With his International clearance through, Dan Schiavi made his Rangers debut and was involved in most of the good play from the home side, a defence splitting pass sent Dan Flack into the visitors box to bring a fine save from Kris Bartle.
Sileby’s Paul Caswell sent a long clearance deep into the Deeping defence where Stuart McMichael flicked on to bring home keeper Richard Stainsby into action and he tipped over the bar.
The home took the lead on 17 mins, Charlie Coulson’s pass sent Schiavi free down the right, he sent in a superb inviting pin point cross that Scott Mooney met to head past Sileby keeper Bartle
Schiavi then collected from Ben Lewis, his pass sent Mooney into the box who rounded keeper Bartle to pull back towards teammates but the rocksteady Caswell intercepted.
The visitors were claiming an equlaiser when Mark Forbes’ cross was met by Brian Farrell whose challenge was deemed to be a foul on keeper Stainsby as the ball fell into the net, Michael Byrne collected a poor Clarets clearance only to see his effort blocked by Callum Madigan.
The equaliser did come on 28 mins, Forbes’ corner was met by Paul Caswell who rose above the pack to head home from 6 yards.
Play was to and fro, the visitors lively Merdy Maki was in a good contest with Tom Smith with the latter halting Maki’s run with a well timed tackle.
Home skipper David Burton-Jones shot wide from long range following good play from Coulson and Schiavi, at the other end Forbes’ free kick into the heart of the Deeping area and from the scramble Maki’s ½ volley was wide of the post.

It was the visitors who took the lead on 47 mins, a clearance from Allie Jaward found Farrell on the edge of the Deeping box, his touched found the prolific Michael Byrne who despatched into the far corner for 1-2.
Deeping’s Schiavi shot brought a good save from Bartle, the visitors Farrell ran at the home defence, got a return pass from Byrne and then shot – this hit a home defender but Stainsby still had a save to make at full stretch.
It was Sileby who extended their lead on 70 mins, full back Luke Stevens sent his clearance down the line, Byrne chased it down and saw Stainsby hesitate and lobbed the ball over the keeper and inside the far post.
This seemed to sting the home side and 3 minutes later they reduced the arrears with a good goal, sub Henry Dunn found Burton-Jones whose pass inside the full back allowed Will Bird to get to the goal line, his pull back was left by Schiavi for Charlie Coulson to smash the ball home.
Bird almost equalised when Schiavi’s pass split the visitors defence but Bartle was on hand to save
Deeping were almost undone when Farrell’s trickery saw him in the home box but flashed his shot across the face of the goal
The home side levelled with 3 minutes remaining, Dunn’s through ball set up Mooney to shoot, keeper Bartle parried with the ball falling invitingly for Will Bird to head home.
There was still time for the home fans to worry as Sileby sub Nathaneal Ansu evaded two weak home challenges, committed keeper Stainsby but put his shot wide of the post.
