Deeping 'A' welcomed Whaplode Drove reserves to Outgang Road for a league game.

The 1st half was quiet with Deeping dominating possession and creating lots of chances. This forced the Whaplode keeper to pull off some cracking saves with a couple of free kicks smashing off the cross bar. Despite the domination it was Whaplode who broke the dead lock with a ball scrambled in after a corner.

Half time Deeping 0-1 Whaplode.

The 2nd half didn't start well for Whaplode within 2 minutes of the restart they gave away a penalty and the offending player given a 2nd yellow reducing them to 10 men.

The resulting penalty was saved though. Deeping then carried on the theme of the first half dominating the ball and eventually it paid off a great call into the box and a brilliant header brought us level. 15 minutes later and Deeping were ahead a great shot from outside the box gave them the lead.

It wasn't long before full time Deeping secured all 3 points as the attacker rounded the goalkeeper and slotted home to give Rangers the 3 points.
