It's our Commercial Managers turn in the Meet the Clarets hot seat

How long have you been part of DRFC

I have been with Deeping since I was 9, so 38yrs . That does include a couple of years playing or coaching elsewhere, but a long time!

What made you get involved

Just a junior player originally. In terms of being on the Committee. The way I look at it, lots of people gave up their time and put in a lot of effort to allow me to play and coach. So it's my time to give something back.

What advice would you give someone looking to get into non league volunteering

Get stuck in! It's extremely rewarding and you won't regret it. Start small with some little jobs and see where it leads.

What are your hopes for the end of the current season

Plenty of smiles on players faces of the juniors, some continued success for our junior and youth sides. The launch of our project to get a 3G facility on our site.

Who is the best Ranger you have seen play for the club

Malcom Christie was without doubt the best for a season before he moved on. Longevity wise, someone like Mick Smith (80's & 90's) was exceptional or Nick Wade from the same era. Plenty of others I could name too - Martin Ash, David Jones, Darren Woods, John MaCattie, Dean Tarrant - all brilliant.
