...and the players who have moved on this summer.

Deeping Rangers will face another stiff test in the UCL Prem North this season.

Manager Brett Whaley will have to do without experienced players who retired at the end of the last campaign. David Burton-Jones, Spencer Tinkley and Tom Smith all hung up their boots.

"I would like to wish the following players all the best - Dibsy, Spen, Smithy, Theo Braham and Josh Randall," Whaley says.

‘I’d like to wish them all the best and thank them for everything they have done since I’ve been at the club. It’s been brilliant to have the chance to work with three club legends who have had brilliant non-league careers and been amazing for the club. Also good luck to Josh and Theo in their moves."

He goes on to add that "The rest of last year's squad have agreed to stay with the club". Somethign that shows great continuity.

Brett then introduced his new signings.

"We have Gregg Smith and Scott Floyd from Newark and Sherwood, Aaron Watson from Wisbech, Will Bestwick from Blackstones and Tom Wakley from Melton Town"

"I know exactly what Gregg and Floydy bring after working with them both at Spalding. Both add character and ability to the dressing room"

"Will, Tom and Aaron have always impressed when I’ve come up against them, and I’m delighted to have them on board. The three of them will improve us at both ends of the field."

After a 2-2 draw with FC Peterborough over the weekend, home fans will get a chance to see their new-look squad for the first time this Tuesday when Harrowby are the visitors.
