Dear Players, Staff, Volunteers, Supporters and Sponsors,
As we welcome the New Year, I would like to take this opportunity, on behalf of the Board, to thank everyone connected with the club for their continued commitment and support.
The past year has brought its challenges, along with many moments of pride. On and off the pitch, our players, management, volunteers and supporters have once again shown what this club stands for: hard work, resilience and a strong sense of community. Whether through match day dedication, behind the scenes efforts, or loyal backing from the supporters, every contribution has truly mattered.
Football clubs like ours depend on people who give their time, energy and belief, and we are fortunate to have so many who care deeply about our club. I would also like to thank our sponsors and partners for their ongoing support, which remains vital to our progress and long term stability.
As we look ahead to the New Year, we do so with optimism and determination. Our aim is to continue building sustainably, developing talent, and representing the club with pride both on and off the pitch. With your continued support, I am confident we can achieve further progress together.
We also hope that 2026 will see us realise our dream of delivering a new 3G training facility not only for DRFC, but for the wider Deeping community. A tremendous amount of work has gone into this project over the past two years and, with the support of Deeping Sports & Social Club, the Football Foundation, Lincs FA, and South Kesteven Council, we feel we are within touching distance of making this a reality. I hope to be able to provide an update on this during the first quarter of 2026.
It just leaves me to wish you and your families a happy, healthy and successful New Year. I look forward to seeing you at DRFC in the months ahead.
Thank you once again for being part of our club.
Kind regards,
Richard Knighton
Chairman
