Hucknall Town (aka the yellows) were founded in 1943, after being renamed from Hucknall Colliery Welfare.
Their home ground, Ariel Way, has a capacity of 4000 (270 seated).

The Rangers will be the favourites here as Hucknall currently sit 1 spot above relegation on goal difference with Deeping being 4 matches unbeaten.
But Town are not to be discounted. Hucknall is a highly decorated club reaching the higher stages of the English Football ladder winning 13 leagues and many cups. The yellows reached the final of the FA Trophy in 2005 drawing with Grays Athletic 1-1 but ultimately losing 6-5 on penalties. The game was played at the home of a side steeped in European football history , Villa Park.
Hucknall have been managed by some very famous former players. One of these being Des Lyttle during the 2011-12 season. he had formerly played for Leicester, Swansea, Nottingham Forest, Watford, Forest Green, West Brom and Port Vale accumulating 5 goals. Lyttle will be remembered most for his time at the City Ground.
Another famous ex-yellow is Kevin Wilson who scored 42 goals in 150+ apps for Chelsea and played for Ipswich and Derby as well.
Wilson being well known in local non-league cirlcles for his time with Kettering Town and Corby Town.
