Coventry United was formed in 2013 and currently sit in 12th place in the UCL Premier Division South.
United play their home fixtures at the Butts Park Arena which has a capacity of 4,000 (3,000 seated). An interesting being that Butts Park is mainly used by rugby union club Coventry RFC but formerly belonged to an American Football team called the Coventry Jets, along with rugby league side Coventry Bears.
Coventry came out of their last game unsuccessful after suffering a 3-2 loss to title chasers Newport Pagnell. This came after back-to-back wins against Oadby Town and Smethwick Rangers.
The Red and Greens advanced to this stage in the competition after taking a 2-0 lead at half time to Oadby Town, before conceding two goals taking it into penalties. They won the shoot out 5-4.
The man to watch for Rangers will be Jamal Adams who has scored on 10 occasions in all his 13 appearances this season.
Although being quite a new and young club they have been on an upward trajectory since day one.
In 2013/14 as league runner ups, they received their first promotion. This was followed with another success in the 2014/15 with a championship. The march up the pyramid didn't stop there with another title win and promotion in 2015/16 season.
During this time they won the Birmingham FA Challenge Vase in 2014 and Presidents Cup in 2015.
There are not many well-known alumni from the club. However a well-known name amongst the Coventry fans will be Chris Cox who was part of the clubs record win beating Polesworth 28-0.
