Founded in 1908 first known as Brotherhood Engineering works, Peterborough Sports recently finished 14th in the National League North establishing themselves as a 6th tier club racking up 57 points.

Amazingly their current joint manager, Luke Steele played for both Deeping Rangers and Manchester Utd! His other successful spells included Barnsley where he accumulated a total of 209 caps for the Tykes, he spent a total of 6 years at the club. We look forward to welcoming Luke back for the match.

The Peterborough based side were promoted into the National League North in the 2021/22 season after winning the playoffs and additionally winning the Maunsell Cup and Northants Junior Cup.

Surprisingly, Peterborough Sports have never qualified for the FA Cup first round proper. The same applies in the FA Trophy, the best they’ve accomplished in the FA Cup was the 4th qualifying round when they bowed out to AFC Fylde in a tough 6-1 loss.

More recently in the 21/22 season, they lost 2-1 to Kings Lynn.

Again, the furthest they’ve achieved in the FA Trophy was the final qualifying round losing out 3-0 to Kettering Town.

One of the more accomplished former Peterborough Sports players is Lomana LauLau who has played for many renowned clubs such as Portsmouth, Newcastle, Blackpool and Olympiacos, even winning 3 trophies with the Greek side within 1 season!

Lomana also won 31 international caps with the DRC (Democratic Republic of Congo) scoring 7 goals for his country.
