Soham Town Rangers were formed in 1947 following a merger between Soham Town (formed in 1920), and Soham Rangers (formed in 1919), hence the name Soham Town Rangers.
The Greens have played their football at Julius Martin Lane since its purchase in 1952.
The furthest Soham Town Rangers have gotten in the FA Vase was the fifth round in 2004/05 season, they lost 1-0 to AFC Newbury.
Their coach Lloyd Groves also has a lot of history with the club. Most recently he was appointed 1st team manager in January of 2022. Making it his 3rd spell at the club. He is a popular figure in Soham having scored a late winner in 2016/17 season saving them from relegation.

Their current manager is ex-Spalding and Yaxley boss, Brett Whaley. Former Rangers centre back Sam Spencer has joined the coaching team since his retirement mid season in 2022/2023.
They have accumulated 41 points last season in the Eastern Counties League, with their top scorer being Luke Brown scoring 11 goals in 24 appearances in his 3rd spell for the club.
