After a great morning for the Deeping Rangers Clarets Under 8's in their game, they were kindly invited to be mascots for the home fixture against Leicester Nirvana.

All the kids turned up fully kitted out (well done parents for the quick wash) and looked great.
After a quick team photo, the Clarets had a quick tour of the referees changing room and met the first team players with a quick good luck handshake for good measure!!

After an eventful, but goalless first half, in which some parents has to cover the kids eyes during a red card offence for Leicester Nirvana, the Under 8 Clarets took to the hallowed turf to have a penalty shoot out.
Some great goals and great saves took place which must have brought luck to the first team in the second half resulting in a 3-0 win in the end.
