Rangers were beginning to take control , Dan Schiavi’s good free kick saw David Burton-Jones almost get a touch at the near post, Schiavi picked out Tom Smith, his cross from the goal line saw defender Jordan Spruce’s clearance only set up Scott Mooney whose prod goal wards was taken by keeper Mark Osbourne at the second attempt.
Dan Flack made ground down the right, his drive into the box saw Orosz sky his clearance where Mooney controlled and managed to get a shot in but only to hit defender Yaw Ofosu and be cleared.
The home side another good opportunity, Henry Dunn’s pass sliced through the Swans defence to find Hamilton, he tried to round keeper Osbourne, the keeper good hand pushed the ball away where Scott Coupland returned for Adam Pryke to clear from the line.
Deeping levelled on 42 mins, Coupland touch saw the ball towards Schiavi and Damon Herbert, Schiavi’s touch wrong footed Herbert to allow space to drive the ball inside the post beyond the dive of Osbourne from the corner of the box.

Newport saw an early chance in the second period, Luke Emery collected on the edge of the box, his lay off saw Orosz into the box for home defender Jonny Clay to get in a good block.
The Clarets were pressing, Schiavi’s free kick was headed back across goal by Clay for Coupland to hit towards goal, the ball rebounding from Pryke to allow Schiavi to blast for Ofosu to get his block in and protect the goal.
The Swans retook the lead om 56 mins. Dunn’s progress was halted by Alex Marius, his swift pass sent Harry Stratton towards the home box, a cut inside to drive inside the far post.
Rangers responded, Hamilton beat the offside to progress into the box with the block allowing Pagnell to clear and break swiftly, Orosz ran from half way to feed Stratton where Luke Hunnings' good challenge took the ball cleanly to clear.
Deeping sub Jason Kilbride was found by Schiavi’s pass but his first touch only bobbled into the hand of Osbourne, he would make no mistake next time - fellow sub Charlie Coulson picked out Coupland, he played in Kilbride behind the Pagnell defence for the shot to be parried by Osbourne but with enough strength for the ball to nestle in the back of the net for the equaliser on 76 mins.
The home side took the lead for the first time on 79 mins, Schiavi’s curling kick went through the throng for Burton-Jones to arrive and run the ball over the line.
Burton-Jones then won well, the ball finding Mooney, he released Coupland to the edge of the area to shoot wide of the far post.
Many of the locals thought this to be the best game at the Haydon Whitham for some time.
