Somme 100 - Sports Remembers

Deeping Rangers Football Club will be hosting a remembrance event, to commemorate 100 years since the end of the Battle of the Somme.

Prior to kick-off, both teams will enter the pitch early and form a guard of honour on the centre circle. The Langtoft & Deepings Royal British Legion will be in attendance to carry out a brief ceremony to commemorate the role played by sporting men and women on the 100th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme.

Entrance will be free to all British Legion Members and other Uniformed Organisations.
Venue - Haydon Whitham Stadium, Deeping Sports & Social Club, Towngate East, Market Deeping PE6 8LQ, KO will be 3pm.
