On Tuesday of last week, Zack King (a player from our U10’s Clarets team) suffered a very severe asthma attack, whilst at home, and was rushed into hospital.

Despite the very best medical attention, Zack sadly passed away on Thursday afternoon.

All of our thoughts and prayers from the football club go out to Zack’s parents Alana and Damian, along with the management team / players and parents of the Under 10’s Clarets side.

Zack has been with Deeping Rangers Football Club since age of 5 and was developing into a very prolific goal scorer, along with being a popular member of the teams he played in, and will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.

At this very sensitive time, I ask you all to show respect in how we communicate this information to the players and parents of teams within your own football clubs. I also would like to thank those clubs who have very kindly assisted ourselves with the cancelling of scheduled matches last weekend, and their understanding over planned matches in the forthcoming weeks.
