DRFC is holding another Race Night on Saturday 21st March 2020 at the DSSC Clubhouse 7.30 prompt start.

The event is FREE for all to attend (Race Card is £1) whether a Club member or not, young and not so young, - ALL are welcome!

So what is a race night?
For those who have not attended one before, a brief summary is below.
The evening will include 10 races.
Films from actual horse races, which may include both flat , and could include pig racing, that have taken place in the past.
Before the race commences you will be able to place bets as to which number will win, betting on how many is down to you - this adds fun and excitement to each race!
Half of the total amount taken in bets is paid back in prize money to the lucky gamblers who bet on the winning number.

As well as betting on each race you can also add the excitement of becoming a horse (/pig etc) owner.
Horses for the first 8 races are sold in advance (the fifth and tenth race will see the horses auctioned off to the highest bidders on the night).
Horses are available to buy and for just £5 as owner you can name your horse (it will be listed in the race card, and if your horse wins the race as the winning owner you will be able to celebrate with a cash prize of £25.

Become a horse owner:
Buy your horse, don’t forget to name them (we reserve the right to reject inappropriate names).
Horses will be allocated to races randomly.
