After a slow start getting into the game, Deeping were 1-0 down at half time. A great free kick 5 mins into the second half from Jack Patterson drew us level. A few minutes later George Penny stepped up the take a free kick and slotted It home to take us into the lead. Thorney fought back hard and the solid defence of Jack Patterson and Ben Bellamy kept us hanging onto the lead. A great strike across goal into bottom corner from Lewis Holmes saw us go 3-1 ahead with 5 mins to go.
